Karate
 

The Karate program has amassed approximately 4000.00 trophies since the inception of the program. We currently have thirty active PAL members that participate in the karate program. Eight of these members compete throughout the county in karate tournaments. The team received numerous titles from State, National, and World Champion tournaments. The head coach is Long Beach Police Commander Greg Allison who volunteers his own personal time to instruct the members. The assistant coach is Volunteer Berny Padilla. The members learn the importance of discipline, respect, and dedication to achieve any goal.
